Who do we work with?

 

Harmonious Minds work with children, families and young people of all social and cultural backgrounds and communities. We are comfortable working with AAC.

Our services are currently for ages 3-25 years

How do we work?

 

Each person is different and unique! As such we provide services tailored therapy services which are:

  • strength- based

  • child- led

  • family- centered

  • collaborative

  • individual 1:1 sessions

  • neuroaffirming

  • telehealth

We work together to form therapy goals that matter to you including speech, motor, cognitive, social or emotional health and development.

Justine is skilled in ACT, CBT, DBT, EMDR (level 1), motivational interviewing and Emotion Coaching.

Unfortunately, we currently do not offer comprehensive autism assessments privately.

Cognitive and ADHD assessments are available.

Justine travels with boot full of exciting new musical adventures and resources to make therapy sessions fun!

Fees

 

Sessions are typically 45 mins with 15mins for transitions and clinical documentation.

Sessions can be on a weekly or fortnightly basis.

Services can be accessed by:

  • private participants

  • NDIS self managed participants

  • NDIS plan managed participants

  • Mental Health Care Plans

Reports and letters of support are available for a fee.

Getting started

 

Ready to get started?

  1. Contact us! We will then organise a time to setup an initial sessions

  2. Initial session: please have any reports and funding documents ready. In our initial session we will discuss relevant medical history, your current concerns and get to know each other

  3. Goals: together we will form goals to work on during our therapy journey

  4. Evaluation: we will constantly assess progress towards your therapy goals and update these

  5. Collaboration! For best outcomes we like to collaborate with your full care team including therapists, schools and paediatricians. This might look like regular Care Team Meetings, school visits or correspondence.
